Well, hail!!

Wednesday morning Lee was at the dentist and I was at home, when I heard really heavy rain!  I looked out on the deck and discovered that the rain wasn't rain at all - it was HAIL!!
It hailed for about 10 minutes!  I felt so bad for all of the plants that were getting peppered with ice.
Lee was in Pacifica, and there was no hail there, and there was no hail in Half Moon Bay either - I guess we were just lucky!

More hail!  The blue tarp was filled with hail, and it took a long time for it to melt.
