Road Trip 2012 - Heading Home

So we began our journey home on Monday morning.  We tend to be leisurely travelers so it took us three days to get here!  Our first stop was in Tacoma, Washington, where we picked up granddaughter Kelsey who joined us for lunch!  We found a great little Italian place close to Kelsey's apartment where we enjoyed a great artichoke appetizer and a yummy veggie pizza!  It was great to see Kelsey again before we left Washington.  As you can see, she looks great and is really enjoying her job at an upscale beauty salon.

We spent Monday night in Silverton, Oregon at the Oregon Garden Resort.  It was a great location that adjoins the amazing Oregon Garden.  In addition to our room and dinner, a visit to the garden was included in our room rate - you gotta love Travelzoo!

Our stop on Tuesday night was in Ashland, Oregon, where we visited with Geoff, Teri and Emilee!  We were so lucky to bring home lots of Teri's home grown tomatoes!  We had a wonderful dinner and visit, and then came back for breakfast the next morning before making the final push home to Moss Beach

And now there is no excuse - time to get on the road and finally get home, because:  Company's coming!!
