Happy Anniversary Valarie and Dave

Next on the agenda was the 4th of July holiday AND Val and Dave's anniversary!  The first gift of the day was the sunshine we awoke to - 3rd day in a row!

Dave and Jake started their day early, by getting up at 4 am to go fishing!  The rest of us enjoyed a much more leisurely morning.  Kelsey spent the night so she was there, too.  We took advantage of her knowledge of all things beauty - Hailey got a hair cut, and Brianna (Kelsey's friend) and I got pedicures! : ).

Then Kelsey, Valarie, Lee and I went to Fairhaven to take a walk around there.  It's a great little shopping/dinning/sight-seeing area, near the harbor where the ferry docks.  We visited some shops, did some browsing and then indulged with a gelatto!  YUM!

Then it was off to the mall to meet Lindsay, where she picked out a stroller/infant car seat combo, which was her shower gift from Val and Dave and us.

We made plans to meet at New York Pizza at 5:00 pm for dinner, as both Kelsey and Cody were leaving for home after that.

It was a great event, because it was Val and Dave's anniversary, and because all of the kids were home at the same time!  We had a great time visiting with everyone and catching up with their lives.

Life is good!!

It was a grand and glorious day!  After the "photo shoot", everyone went in different directions.  Lee and I and Val and Dave went for a great walk along the Fairhaven pier, then headed home to make sure that the dogs survived another 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July, and Happy Anniversary, Val and Dave!!
