Val and Dave had created a great outdoor party space, complete with fire pit and lots of seating. There was a bar-b-que, lots of things to eat, fireworks and TWO live bands! It was quite the event! There were lots of kids there, plenty of adult chaperons and a great time was had by all!
Lee and I contributed by holding down the fort inside, comforting the dogs who were having a hard time with the fireworks, and watching "Ice Age" with Madi when she decided that she'd had enough of the festivities outside.
