Before we left on our trip north, we had received an e-mail for our friend Andy in Australia, showing photographs from amazing places all over the world - including the Capilano Suspension Bridge. We were amazed to see how the park had developed, with tree-top walks suspended throughout. So that became a "must-see"!
The suspension bridge is just as amazing as before - it's very long and there is a lot of movement on it - especially if someone decides to try and swing it!
We began our tour with ice cream cones (for energy, you know!) and then crossed the bridge and walked all of the many walkways suspended way high above the ground. The park has lots of different geology, too, so we got lots of different views. The weather was spectacular, too!
After Capilano we stopped at Subway and picked up sandwiches for a picnic dinner at the beach in Stanley park. The kids had a blast in the water and we all enjoyed the relaxation. What a wonderful day!

It was quite amazing! It wouldn't do to have a fear of heights!

It was a grand and glorious day! We highly recommend the Capilano Suspension Bridge park and Stanley park if you are ever in Vancouver!
